Educating our youth is a mission that is of national priority. There is nothing more important than saving our children and preparing them for the 21st century. According to an African Proverb, "it takes a village to raise a child." In essence many approaches, styles, techniques and personalities are needed to nurture children as they grow and develop.
We are a village of helpers whose program is entitled, Together We Aspire, Together We Achieve' (TWA-TWA). It is a part of Resounding Steel, Inc. (RSI), a nonprofit organization located in Durham, NC. We have an exemplary musical educational program using the Steel Drum to inspire and motivate youth to reach their full academic, and personal potential.
